What is the etymology of the words cuisine and kitchen?

சமையல் ( samayal )- refers to the preparation of food for consumption. It is a word related to the verb to cook which means to ripen.

To cook means to prepare food by heat for eating. It loses its hardness and becomes mushy when cooked. Cuccini is a word born from the meaning of filthines

குசினி = cuisine It is no exaggeration to say that the word cuisine is born from this Tamil word Kusini, as saimathal is the act of boiling rice/other things.

Research on the origin of the word குசினி

The root word is (குய்)Kui, which is left over by subtracting “Am” from the word Kuyam.
