What is the relation between the word "ethics" and the Tamil word "நீதி" (nethi)?

There was a sign in a Dental Hospital saying "Ethics above all". my mind says that there is a chance of Tamizh word root for the word "Ethics" . When I do the etymoloy study and that our Tamil word நீதி('Nethi') is the source of the English word 'ethics'.

நீதி - nēthi → ethi → Ethic → Ethics நீதி என்பது தர்மத்தைப் பாதுகாப்பது என்று கூறினால் பொருத்தமாக இருக்கும்.

Ethic - Ethos (Greek): character, the guiding beliefs or ideals. (Latin via Greek): moral principles.

Similarly, most of the world language words are derived from our Tamil language words
